Attn Singers….. Due to resent changes in lives, my band Octane(99) is currently looking for a new lead singer to replace our old singer. We are a modern cover rock band located in the Sioux Falls/ Yankton area. We have been together for about 2 years now and have been gigging for about 6 months. We currently are playing cover songs in local bars for the time being but are more interested in the writing and creating own own music. We are only playing covers for now to pay for equipment and save money for studio time.
We are looking for a male singer in the age range of 21-35. We would prefer one who plays guitar but not a must. We are looking for a SERIOUS person who is willing to practice twice a week and travel on the weekends. This person also must not mind rocking covers for now until original material has been written. Also must be very dedicated.
The band is located in Yankton, S.D. Its about 75 miles SW of Sioux Falls. This is where the band practices so you must also be willing to some traveling for practice.
